About Our Clinical Pilates Programme
Our Clinical Pilates programme at Beachside is a fundamental component of our injury rehabilitation services. It includes an individualised plan that is clinically proven and specifically tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. Using a combination of specialised Pilates equipment such as the reformer, Wunda chair, and springboard, alongside floor exercises and resistance bands, our programme is designed to target and alleviate problem areas effectively.
Unlike typical gym and studio classes, our Pilates sessions offer a bespoke experience. We provide semi-private classes with a ratio of three participants to one Physiotherapist, ensuring that each client receives personalised attention. Each participant follows their individually tailored programme under the vigilant supervision of a Physiotherapist, striking an ideal balance between customised care and a sociable, supportive environment.
An initial one-on-one Pilates assessment helps to establish your movement capabilities, injury history, personal goals, and areas of weakness, which then guides the customisation of your programme.
It is ideal for you if you have:
- Low back pain
- Neck or upper back pain
- Sacroiliac joint (pelvis) pain or dysfunction
- Poor core stability
- Pre- or post-natal requirements
- Pelvic floor dysfunction
- Recurring knee, hip, or ankle injuries
Clinical Pilates is optimal for managing injuries, boosting postural control and core strength, enhancing body awareness, and increasing flexibility.
This programme is available to clients throughout the Sutherland Shire, including the suburbs of Cronulla, Woollooware, Caringbah, Miranda, Gymea, and Sylvania.
